"Throughout history, the Jewish community in Greece has faced numerous challenges, including episodes of antisemitism and acts of intolerance. According to various sources, events such as the Campbell pogrom in 1931, where the Jewish quarter of Campbell in Thessaloniki was destroyed and its residents attacked, the forced deportations of  Greek Jews during World War II, and more recent incidents of vandalism targeting Jewish cemeteries and synagogues, have marked significant moments of hardship. Despite the overall climate of coexistence and respect for diversity, it is evident that antisemitic attitudes still persist. This section, titled Observatory / Παρατηρητήριο, aims to document and raise awareness of these events, honoring the resilience of the Greek Jewish community and promoting a future based on mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
